Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1965 album from the British band best remembered for their hit cover of the Beatles song 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away', which made the U.S. Top Ten in 1965. The song's prospects were boosted by a Lennon-McCartney production credit. Three of the Beatles were involved in the Silkie's cover version of 'You've Got to Hide Your Love Away'. Paul McCartney contributed vocals and guitar, George Harrison added percussion via guitar taps and tambourine, and John Lennon did most of the producing. This CD reissue of The Silkie's album also includes their singles as bonus tracks. The accompanying booklet features extensive liner notes, photographs and full recording details. 16 tracks.
