Album Intro：
The Mile After is an up and coming band out of Charlotte, NC. They use the persona of 'we are fun, silly guys' to really put together pop rock that feels fun. The disc is great but as the title might suggest, its not perfect. Its not a Fall Out Boy or Something Corporate CD but honestly, its close. The production is perfect. It sounds great.
The cd opens very strong. When the first track is playing with its powerful guitar and drums to start, I was thinking 'these guys are off to a great start on this disc'. The CD then kinda trails off for 2 songs. There's about 4 songs on the CD that sound like filler. There is also 2 slower songs, one of which is fantastic (the piano song) and the other of which missed the mark of good slow pop rock ballads. The song that stands out is 'So Damn Easy'. Wow. More of this song please, its catchy, fun and would be a massive hit in the US if it got radio airtime. The cd is close to the pop rock standard of today, but it comes up short.
